The successful candidate will work under the direction of the General Manager estimating and planning the development and coordination of various projects within Ontario, Western Canada and Eastern Canada.



  • Analyze documents, specifications, proposals in preparation for pricing
  • Review project site prior to price preparation
  • Obtain input from operations staff
  • Obtain pricing from suppliers and incorporate into estimate
  • Formulate all costs for tender submission – labour, equipment, material, subcontracts
  • Organize and obtain all appropriate bonding and insurance requirements for tenders
  • Accountable for the completion and accuracy of tender submissions
  • Distribute administrative documentation appropriately upon aware of project
  • Monitor and provide job cost reports to management on active projects
  • Create and submit progress and final invoicing
  • Provide data and input for month-end reconciliations
  • Maintain files and correspondence on active and completed projects
  • Provide technical support to field staff
  • Communicate with sub-trades



  • Minimum 5 years experience in Project Management
  • College or University graduate preferably in Civil Engineering
  • Estimating experience in construction projects including utility installation, water, sewer and pipeline
  • Capable of reading and understanding construction drawings and documents
  • Proficient in Microsoft products including Excel, Word, MS Project, PowerPoint
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Superior organization and time management skills
  • Ability to work accurately and under pressure
  • Adaptable to flexible work schedule when required to meet deadline
  • Self motivated individual with strong problem solving skills willing to take on new challenges
  • Ability to work with others as a team
  • Valid driver’s license
