Validating our strong commitment to Health and Safety, Robert B. Somerville was recently awarded the 2008 Toronto Construction Safety Association’s, “Best of the Best Award” for Outstanding Safety Performance.  This award resulted from out Summer 2008 Imperial Oil project in Bronte Creek, involving the abandoning of an existing pipeline and the lowering of a second pipeline.  Somerville crews were audited by Imperial Oil Management and Ontario Regulators with excellent feedback.  There were zero medical aids and zero lost time injuries.  Somerville Management would like to congratulate all our Supervisors and Workers in helping us achieve our “Target Zero” goals.
