For this project, Somerville used a DD185 drill to drill under Trafalgar Rd and the 16 Mile Creek to replace a 495m section of NPS12. The bore was drilled through limestock rock using a 6 3/4" mud motor and wireline guided steering to pilot successfully. The hole was reamed out to 18" to allow the NPS12 pipeline to be installed. Project was completed on time.
