Urban Main Replacement Program - Grovenor

This project consisted of the relocation and installation of new mains and services and moving any existing inside gas meters to the exterior of the buildings. Somerville was responsible for all aspects of the job from applying for and tracking locates and permits, customer contact and public relations, safety and signage, all excavation and landscaping/repairs to complete the work, installation and abandonment of all underground piping, all work downstream of the meter and associated inside piping both on residential and commercial buildings. This project consisted of 215 services and 3km of main, from NPS 1 1/4" to 8".
