Somerville is seeking to hire a Payroll Administrator for a high volume national payroll.  Multiple Collective Agreements.  Position start date immediately.

Responsibilities

Working as part of the payroll team you will be required to meet all weekly union and non-union payroll deadlines.

Available to work overtime when required, with little notice.

Reporting to the Payroll Manager your duties will include but are not limited to: Enter data into our in-house payroll system (Jonas) on a daily basis from field timesheets,

Verify hours and allocations for accuracy.

Maintain employee files and ensure the confidentiality of all payroll records.

Perform manual calculations for applicable adjustments such as bonus payments, special adjustments, travel and living allowances and retroactive payments.


Prepare all documentation and final pay for terminated employees.


Qualifications

Canadian payroll experience.

CeNification through The Canadian Payroll Association an asset.

Intermediate computer skills, Excel and Word.

Knowledge of Jonas Canadian Payroll (Construction), an asset.

Detail oriented, and ability to multitask.

Ability to work in a fast paced deadline driven environment.

Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills.

Strong problem-solving skills.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.


Strong English skills, verbal and written.
