Somerville is seeking to hire a Quality Co-ordinator. The successful candidate will be based out of our Head Office in King City, Ontario and will travel to other locations as required.
Responsibilities include:
- Support of inter-divisional projects throughout Canada, including but not limited to:
- Administrative support for Quality Management System activities, including evaluation and maintenance of subcontractor qualification, maintaining current client and industry specifications, quality training and orientations, health, and safety activities
- Maintaining the existing Quality Management System, with a focus on Control of Documented Information, Continual Improvement initiatives, Non- Conformance and Corrective Action administration and supporting client requirements
- Ability to be self-motivated and work with minimal supervision
- assist in creation of Project Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plans and relevant quality documentation
- Site audits, inspections and review of activities, process, and deliverable packages
- Training and Education of personnel in quality related areas
Qualifications
- Post-secondary in Quality Assurance or Engineering discipline
- 3-5 years of Quality related experience
- Understanding of ISO 9001:2015 and Quality Management Systems
- Experience and/or Certification in Quality Auditing is mandatory
- Understanding of statistical techniques and applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer skills with knowledge of Windows applications, including Word, Excel & PowerPoint
