On October 28th, 2019, Somerville officially opened its new Western Canada Head Office at 28674 96 Avenue in Acheson, Alberta, approximately 20 km west of Edmonton. This new modern 25,000 sq ft integrated office, shop and warehouse with accompanying 14 acre yard allows Somerville to consolidate its Western Canadian Operations into one dedicated facility. In addition, Somerville Operations will also continue to be augmented by our current facility in Rocky View Alberta, 15 km east of Calgary.
The new facility incorporates many energy saving and environmentally friendly materials and systems, including extensive use of glass allowing natural sunlight to flow through the building and a rooftop solar system to promote energy efficiency and lower our Carbon footprint.
