2011 Urban Mains Replacement Program - Calder Region The project involves the replace existing steel mains and services in the Calder area of Edmonton. The area is primarily residential but does also include some commercial businesses. The project involved installation of 20km of PE mains ranging from 2" to 6", and 1,668 services. The project also involved the replacement of service lines going to any existing inside gas meter and moving it to the outside of the building. The inside gas meter work work ranged from residential houses with 200 series meters, to commercial buildings with 5M meters and 3" welded downstream lines.
