The project involved the construction of a new Jet Fuel Storage Facility capable of handling 3,602,880 litres of fuel. Two 1,801,440 litre epoxy coated vertical above grade steel storage tanks were constructed. The site began as a a greenfield farm located on the grounds of the Hamilton Airport Authroity. The project included all civil earth works, construction of the control building, loading and storage mechanical systems, electrical and PLC requirements, including site lighting and security. The project was fast tracked due to weather time constraints.
