ATCO Gas - Steel Mains Replacement Program (SMR) - Yellowhead 149 St to St Albert Trail

This project is to replace the existing steel mains and services in the Hagmann Estate Industrial area of Edmonton. The area is entirely commercial buildings and borders the Yellowhead Highway, which is undergoing heavy construction. The project involves the installation of 1,295m of PE mains, up to 4", and 26 services. The new mains and services will primarily be installed by directional drilling. Also involved with the replacement of service lines, is moving any existing inside gas meters to the outside of the buildings. The inside gas meter work will consist of primarily larger commercial rotary meters.
