360 Networks is a HDPEduct structure of various numbers and sizes that stretches across Canada. These ducts contain fibre optic cables spliced together through splice boxes, making up one of the national fibre optic cable systems of Canada. RB Somerville'songoing emergency / maintenance work is on the 360 Networks fibre right-of-way that runs parallel and withinmost existing Canadian National (CN)railway lands. Robert B. Somerville provides maintenance services on their fibre network associated with the relocation of existing plant that conflicts with new outside infrastructure, and the removal and installation of new fibre cable and splice boxes. The emergency services include repairs to the duct and fibre when damaged or cut by other excavators, or various other unforeseen circumstances. This agreement has been in place for13+ yearsfor RB Somerville, and we proudto be an approved existing 360 Network responder. In the picture provided, we were transferring their 16 conduit live fibre network from an existing active railway bridge to a newly constructed bridge over the Humber River in Ontario.
