The project involved the installation of 5 - 4" HDPE conduit under the Detroit River to Boblo Island. The drill length was approximately 500 meters and included drilling through rock. The contract also required the construction of pull pits, assisting with the instalaltion of 3 hydro and 1 telephone cable. Power on the island was supplimented by Diesel Standby Generator during the installation.
