The project involved the installation of an NPS 8" High Density Polyethylene Pipeline for the transportation of brine from BP's facility on Plank Road in Sarnia to the Nova Chemicals facility in Corunna. The pipeline has a maximum operating pressure of 160 psig. The length of the pipeline is approximately 11, 500 meters. The project included 2,500 meters of installation by Horizontal Directional Drilling method in area where the ROW was congested.
