The Commerce Park 44KV Substation is a new hydro substation located at 2073 Commerce Park Drive in Innisfil. This substations intended purpose is for the transformation of 44KV primary line voltage to Innisfil Hydro's distribution line voltage and strategic switching. The new transformer being commissioned is a oil filled unit being placed on a cast in place foundation. The transformer also requires a means of capturing and containing oil if a rupture occurs. Our scope of work included all site preparation, precat pads for reclosure, cast in place pad for switchgear, cast in place pad for transformer, cast in place building footings and slab, oil containment pit with lining, perimeter fencing and all final reinstatment and fine grading.
