Denison Road Underpass - Utilities - Georgetown South Project

The Georgetown South Project will provide infrastructure improvements to meet existing GO Transit ridership demand and future growth. It will also accommodate existing and future VIA Rail and CN freight train service as well as the new Air Rail Link between Union Station and Pearson International Airport. The Denison Road Underpass will accommodate the separation of train and vehicle traffic. Robert B. Somerville was contracted the relocate existing utilities and supply and install new ductbanks and manholes to accommodate the upgraded utilities. The project also included the installation of all mechanical and electrical works associated with a new wetwell.
