During the City of Calgary's revitalization of the pedestrian walkway on the 4th St underpass in downtown Calgary, ENMAX took the opportunity to upgrade their facilities in the tunnel underneath. Robert B Somerville broke out the existing sidewalks while protecting the live 25KV cables, slip piped and encased them into a larger ductbank allowing for future upgrades. In addition we broke out and rebuilt the aging manhole walls and ceilings at each end of the utility tunnel.
