External Sanitary Sewer - Utility Locates Services

Eastern Construction was the Construction Manager for Waterfront Toronto in the redevelopment of the East Bayfront. As part of the redevelopment, a new sanitary sewer had to be designed that would connect an existing sewer along the Esplanade to a new main that connects the development in the East Bayfront. This project involved locating various utilities in the Esplanade region to determine project feasiblity for future watermain extensions. Robert B. Somerville provided hydrovac and locate engineering services. Approximately 150 hydrovac holes were completed to depths of 2.5 meters.
