Bell Canada's Fibre to the Node FTTN Program connects customers with High Speed Network services. The new Fibe provides for speeds up to 16Mbps. Robert B. Somerville was contracted to construct and Upgrade the Fibre To The Node Facilities in the Newmarket Switching Area. Work consists of duct installation by open cut trench and directional drill, modifications to existing above ground hardware and terminals, construction of new cast in place equipment bases, installation of fibre and copper cables and site restoration.
