IT-2010-CIG-089 Construction of Georgetown South Project Humber River and Weston Road Bridge Expansion & Segment 7 Grading The Georgetown South Project provided infrastructure improvements to meet existing GO Transit ridership demand and future growth. It also accommodates existing and future VIA Rail and CN freight train service as well as the new Air Rail Link between Union Station and Pearson International Airport. The new corridor required the widening of rail corridor in sections, installing underpasses and bridges and upgrading and constructing new utility infrastructure. On this project BOT Engineering & Construction Ltd. was awarded the following contract for Humber River and Weston Road Bridge Expansion & Segment 7 Grading. Robert B. Somerville was subcontracted to relocated and construct new electrical ductbanks and manholes, a natural gas main and services for track heaters, signal, communiication and lighting systems.
