Medicine Hat Hydrostatic Test and PMP Projects

Schedule driven project requiring Hydrostatic testing of 29Km of Trans Canada's NPS 16 natural gas line feeding the Medicine Hat area. During a four week outage the NPS 16" line was tested in two 14.5Km sections. Somerville was responsible for isolating five producer lines prior to commencing the test. In addition, Somerville was responsible for all aspects of the Hydrostatic Test, while providing support to TCPL operation crews and JL Filtration Dewatering Crew. Various maintenance projects on meter stations included miscellaneous work on NPS 6, NPS 8, NPS 10, NPS 12, & NPS 20 piping and valve assemblies.
