Napanee Generating Station Pipeline Diversion

Somerville was contracted by Matrix North American to divert 225m of existing 24" XHP gas line feeding the generating plant with natural gas. The diversion was for a transformer station expansion which was in conflict with the pipeline. This was a plant expansion project completed by TC Energy at the OPG facility. Somerville welded, hydrostatically tested, arranged outages of the existing line, purged the exisiting line, cold cut, removed the exisiting pipe, tied the new pipe in and commissioned.
