The North Saskatchewan River Crossing consisted of a four (4) pipe bundled crossing of 1-NPS30, 1-NPS24, and 2-NPS16 pipelines. The pipelines were each concrete coated and strapped together using closely spaced custom welded steel plate banding. The crossing was trenched with a Skaggit (a.k.a. Sauerman) using the open cut method, with a crossing length of approximately 210m across. Once the pipelines were installed, they were hydrostatically tested.
