This project consisted of hydrotesting 17.8km of NPS48 pipe on Line 100-5. A potential rupture area was identified by client before testing activities which was completed as an integrity dig by Somerville. Approximately 20,000m3 of water was required for this test. The original water source of the South Saskatchewan River did not have adequate flow and was unable to be used for the project. Somerville facilitated the identification of a new water source and coordinated the required trucking of water to fill C-Rings set up on site.
