Eptcon was contracted by Oakville Hydro to construct a 230/27.6 kV Municipal Transformer Station # 1 in the Town of Milton. Robert B. Somerville was subcontracted to supply and install 12 underground manholes and approximately 2,000 meters of concrete encased duct structure to deliver power from the new transmission station to the overhead distribution system. Structures ranged from 4 duct to 32 duct, and terminated at DIP poles at various locations.
