This project required Somerville to replace launcher and receiver traps at Westover, North Westover, Nanticoke and Nanticoke Junctions. This included erecting platforms and footing foundations. The piping spools ranged from 20" to 30" diameter and were installed within 12 to 18 hour windows to minimize downtime of the pipeline system. Within each window, Somerville drained the system, cold cut and removed the existing piping and installed the new piping spools.
