Rural Mains Replacement Project Capital Region The project Involved the replacement of gas mains, primarily PVC lines, and services in the rural regions around the City of Edmonton. The scope involved installation of 22km of PE mains ranging from 2" to 3", and approximately 110 rural services. The main installation primarily by directional drill and plow methods, through farm fields, crossing lease roads and water bodies. Also involved with the replacement of service lines required to move any existing inside gas meter to the outside of the building. Inside gas meter work consisted of primarily farm houses with 200 series meters.
