In order to supply a new Point of Delivery system for 25kV distribution services in the NE quadrant of Calgary, Somerville was contracted by ENMAX to install approximately 3,865m of 4/9/12-way concrete encased ductbank traversing south-west from 162 Substation. Some of the challenges on this job were installing ductbank through swamp/wetland areas, and connecting to the road bore of Stoney Trail, installed under a different contract.
