Vulcan Lateral Replacement

To facilitate the Alberta Transportation's Carseland-Bow River Headworks System Rehabilitation project, a lowering of the existing NPS12 pipeline was required. Robert B Somerville was retained as prime contractor andcompleted a replacement using HDD for approximately 233 meters of the NPS12 pipeline. Following the HDD installation, tie-ins to the existing pipeline were completed according to the design. The project was executed within the working space for the Alberta Transportation contractors which required developing and maintaining a close and harmonious working relationship with all parties.
