The Village at York University is a 344 unit townhouse development located just off the York University campus. Robert B. Somerville installed the utility assets for Toronto Hydro, Bell Canada, and Rogers Cable in a single trench. This method of installation is commonly known as Joint Trench. Robert B. Somerville also installed the communities streetlighting system. A decorative coach-light fixtures on octagonal black concrete poles was used.
