This project included the replacement of two pipelines for TransCanada Pipelinesat the Syncrude facility north of Fort McMurray. The two pipelines were 400 meters in length each,one being NPS10, the other NPS24 pipe. The pipeline replacements were installed utilizing HDD method with the pipeline works including all of the welding, hydrostatic testing and tie-in of the replacement lines to the existing pipelines. Following the replacement the abandoned sections of pipeline were removed.
